Marcelo Antonelli has a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education Sports Sciences (Unicamp – Brazil) and a Master’s Degree in Education (Saint Francis University – PA – USA).
He played college soccer in Brazil, followed by professional Futsal in Italy 2001-2007 (Giemme, Pescara Calcio a 5 and Regalbuto).
After playing in Italy he moved to the USA, where he coached at the NCAA Division 1 level for 10 years, along with coaching for ODP and various clubs. He has obtained the National, Advanced National and Premier Licenses from United Soccer Coaches.

Camila Mendes has a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education and Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Education and Health. She earned both Degrees from Union College in KY, USA.
She grew up playing soccer and futsal for Guarani Futebol Clube (Brazil) and then received a full ride to play soccer and study at Union College (USA). After her graduation, she continued her career playing professionally for Blackburn Rovers (England), Requios FC (Japan), and Real Dimension (Trinidad & Tobago).
Camila then returned to the USA and started coaching college soccer. She has been coaching for the past 11 years.
SPF started when its founder (Marcelo Antonelli) released his first book in 2018: “Soccer Powered by Futsal”
Since then, together with other coaches, authors, contributors, and partners from different nationalities, SPF has kept growing. New books have been released in a variety of languages, as well as articles and videos.
We have peformed camps, clinics, courses, and keep interacting with leading professionals around the World to have the most updated and effective ways to train both sports.
Millions of players around the World play both football and futsal. Many of the best players grew up playing both sports. Yet, there was so little information about how to better integrate training in both sports for player development. Until SPF arrived to change it!
